A lunch at Little Tokyo
I always wanted to try public transportation of Los Angeles to see how feasible they are. Today, my curiosity led me to try them to go Little Tokyo from Glendale for lunch.
I quickly searched up all possible routes. The first option was to take subway from North Hollywood where park & ride is available but estimated travel time is too long: ~ 40min to 1hr.
The next option was taking metrolink from downtown Burbank station which only takes 2 stops to Union station which takes ~ 20min. They have free parking lot at station which is not that far from my work. Even better, a day pass for metrolink is only $5 which is cheaper thank downtown parking.

I took subway from Little Tokyo to Union since it's inclusive with Metrolink pass. It's about same time with walking (including waiting) but why not!
Overall experience was pretty good.
I heard all bad experiences and warnings on safety of public transportation in LA but day time trip wasn't bad at all and I would definitely try it again sometime soon!
