Holiday potluck lunch @work

We have potluck lunch at the end of a year to celebrate our effort and enjoy cross-culture of us.

I forgot to bring it in the morning and late on actual lunch since I needed to go back home and to pick up mine.

Last weekend, I've watched the Match Point which is directed by Woody Allen but filmed on London, not on Manhattan. This movie is not so experimental one nor hard to catch up unlikely the other Woody's but you can say the conclusion of story differs quitely from traditions. (It's definitely not the type of Hollywood Ending) It seems like to show the dark side of a human being as contrasted with the other side in the beginning. By the way, I found the story doesn't go the way I'd predict based on traditional stories like that. Instead, it concludes something which could happen in our real world. "The devil is not always punished" In spite of the tragic episode in the middle of it, the movie finishes kinda happy ending for our hero and it satisfied me as Woody Allen's way. Fun time on Big Bear mountain

Flying Chester & Yonghee We've started jumping since last season but it's still not easy. The problem is "not to be scared". How to do that? Just practice & practice. But it's still funny doing this with same leveled buddy. Yonghee He's my snowboarding partner since last year. He's majoring Chemistry in SDSU and a looking good guy with cute cheeks. Graduate Commencement

There was graduate commencement of science and engineering collages of san diego state university on yesterday. I walked on it for my master of science degree on computer science. Although my last master's degree was back to 1996 on Physics, this event reminds me the final moment of my long study has been reached. I often says I collected degrees like collecting postages but everyone knows it's always hard to finish an academic program. That's why I'm truly happy but little bit nervous for this time. Dr Roch is the best one among all professors taught me in my program. She wasn't just a good instructor in class but she really cared all students to understand what they learned. I've never seen any other professor put one's effort on helping each individual student. This funny little tree may have money on its leaf, later. Thanks Gene & Sarah for your kind hearts.
